The Love of Siam is a beautiful love story set in Thailand between two teenage boys who are just realizing who they are and how their feelings for each other affect the lives of their family and friends. The boys (Mew, played by Witwisit Hiranyawongkul and Tong, played by Mario Maurer) were childhood friends until they were separated when Tong and his family moved out because of his sister's unexpected demise. Fast forward a few years and they meet each other again with Mew now a part of a band and Tong with a girlfriend.
